For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold earrings with larimar and amber. The earrings are reversible and can be "flipped" to display either the robin's egg blue larimar side or the honey-brown amber side. These type of earrings were very popular during the Art Deco era, but were usually made in sterling silver. Gold jewelry of this type is a bit unusual and I am always pleased to find it! These earrings have a simple "flip" feature; a large bail that allows you to simply turn the earring upside down to switch from larimar to amber (see photo #3). The amber and larimar are securely set in a side gold bezel-setting. The amber is the classic, vivid shade of robin's egg blue, and the amber has a nice glow. The sale includes 14k butterfly backs. These earrings are well-crafted, elegant and versatile. As collectibles they will only increase in value with time.
